500 CDs You Must Own Before You Die! (500 music items)

"Grafting a throaty, often gospel-tinged voice onto hip-hop beats, What’s the 411? both invented hip-hop soul and introduced its still-undisputed queen. Concurrent remixes of the title track and “Reminisce” cement the style countless singers have copied. Standout track: “Reminisce”"
