Although Tim McGraw is a wildly successful country singer, Set This Circus Down could be best described as an easy-listening collection. Its 14 tracks are heavy on power ballads ("You Get Used to Somebody", "Take Me Away from Here", "Why We Said Goodbye") with soaring choruses and frothy sentiments but light on soulful substance.
