Formed as simply a metamorphosis of cult speed metal act, Znowhite, Chicago's Cyclone Temple stormed back onto the Thrash Metal scene with their Combat Records debut album, I Hate Therefore I Am, and the future was finally looking extremely prosperous for the band. Unfortunately, as with far too many bands back then, they were unable to fully capitalize on the growing momentum because of personal struggles within their ranks and then the sudden closing of Combat Records.
