A side project for Death Cab For Cutie's Ben Gibbard, the Postal Service marries his plaintive vocals and songwriting talent with electronica. The songwriting is emo/indie, which is typically Gibbard's style. The result is interesting, very reminiscent of the Canadian band Stars.
