Given that the BC brothers initially tried--and failed--to make it as a kiddo country act stateside, this disc's title makes perfect sense. Here, the Moffatts shoot straight for the teen pop market, becoming a Canadian near-equivalent to Hanson (something they'd work hard to downplay on future albums). Groundbreaking it's not, but Chapter 1 is credible, with strong instrumental work by the four sibs, particularly guitarist Scott.
