Description: Few could challenge John Hughes in 1980s teen coming-of-age flicks. This brat-pack extravaganza boasts the anthemic "Don't You (Forget About Me)" by Simple Minds, a hit so large it vaulted them into the collective consciousness. The rest of it is more disposable. Elizabeth Daily (aka E.G.) was a kindred spirit of Pia Zadora in that people kept trying to make her famous, although in retrospect it's hard to figure out why.
