CD reissue of this 1971 album from the Folk/Pop singer/songwriter, one of the most popular solo performers of the '70s. Released during his ascension to the top of the charts, Aerie may not have been filled with hit singles like the albums that came out before and after (Poems Prayers & Promises and Rocky Mountain High) but the album has remained a favorite amongst fans of the easy going performer. Includes self-penned tracks as well as covers of songs by Buddy Holly, Steve Goodman, John Prine and others. Future Starland Vocal Band member Bill Danoff has songs featured as well.
