Zombeavers review

Posted : 9 years, 6 months ago on 31 October 2014 04:36

I love zombie films so when someone comes up with a fresh idea on the subject I'm always up to checking it out. I remember seeing the trailer for this and knew from that it would be quite the cheese fest. That dog looks like the one from The Artist. The women here are extremely attractive and have some of the nicest bodies that includes the nerdy looking girl. The effects are pretty cheap here especially with the beavers being obvious puppets. The beaver that is falling in half is pretty disturbing to me since I remember when I was a kid there was a possum that had been stuck in a hole in the wall. Our neighbor had come over and pulled it out where it proceeded to fall in half. It was pretty gross so seeing the zombeaver like that was disturbing. The dialogue at times is pretty awful while other times it's pretty clever. Once the horror actually starts it gets pretty fun to watch. All the guys are pretty douchy and the girls aren't really all that good either except maybe the main girl. This also kind of reminds me of the movie Mulberry Street which I thought was a really interesting movie as well. It actually wasn't covered in cliches like one would expect. It doesn't take itself too seriously and you shouldn't either. It's full of gore and some unexpected moments. I have to say it was pretty hilarious. I'm sure everyone involved had a blast making this. I was pleasantly surprised by the outcome. It was a crazy idea for sure. It probably will be shunned by the normal movie goer, but I'm sure it will have it's own cult following. That ending credit song is hilarious and seems like something you would hear in a lounge. I will be one to say I actually really enjoyed this.
