Most anthologies have all the stories completely separate with only the barest of crossover elements, but Trick 'r Treat...wow! You can pick any of the individual stories to follow, and you will see characters from the other stories pop up, many as more than just background characters. "OCTOBER 31: What a perfect end to the Halloween season! I love this movie. I'm outraged it didn't get a theatrical release. I'm delighted to know there is a sequel in the works. Out of all the horror anthologies I've ever seen, none of them have been intertwined so seamlessly as this one.
