" DVD- 2hrs. 4min. First Viewing It's not a particularly fun, or even eventful, film, but The Pledge is a, mostly, engrossing story of obsession. Many viewers may be thrown by the pacing, which spans several years without much in the way of action; this is an exceedingly meditative film charting one man's hunt for a killer. Personally, I wasn't the biggest fan of it, but I understood and appreciated what it was going for; it has to be a bit dull to really sell the point. Director Sean Penn unders"
