"In Afghanistan, a team of US Special Ops forces is dispatched with the ostensible orders of locating an influential Muslim cleric. While on the mission they find themselves lost in a Middle Eastern โ€˜Bermuda Triangleโ€™ of ancient evil and faced with an enemy that none of them could have imagined. This could have been an intriguing little picture from Daniel Myrick, one of the directors behind Blair Witch Project, and it's going for the same sort of vibe, albeit with a completely different set"
