Film Journal 2013 (98 movies items)" Okay, I've seen this twice now and determined that it's awesome. It's an entirely fantastical take on gangsters, but that's what makes it so fun. It's basically 'Untouchables' meets comic books. Josh Brolin plays the hard-boiled cop, Ryan Gosling the good cop walking a thin line, Sean Penn the crazy Mob boss and Emma Stone the foxy lady caught in the middle. It's exactly what you think it's gonna be and that's why you should see it. Also, there was some really cool cinematography thrown in"
