BradWesley123's Movie Journal- May 2017 (33 movies items)

" Netflix- 1hr. 35min. First Viewing A bit too derivative of better crime films, here and there; Small Crime is, nevertheless, and immersive black comedy about people's blind willingness to forgive. The script wisely unfurls its points throughout the film, making the film frequently unpredictable. It does take a bit for the film to find a groove, but it excels when it does. The ensemble cast is quite strong, but the film wouldn't work without Nikolaj Coster-Waldau's performance; the character is "

"This was really interesting. The story starts when corrupted cop gets out of a prison and back to his old town. And almost immediately gets back in to the shit. The cast is great and the film reminded me of Jeremy Saulnier's Blue Ruin quite a bit. The reason might be Macon Blair writing this and starring Saulnier's movies."

Miika's Movie Diary - 2017 (250 movies items)

"28.8, Netflix Kiva pikku jännäri, jossa GoT:n Jaime pääsee vankilasta ja joutuu samantien ongelmiin useamman tahon kanssa. Käsikirjoitus on sopivan nopeatempoinen ja tapahtumarikas ja pieni mustan huumorin virekin löytyy."

BAMF's May 2017 Cinejourney (42 movies items)

" Familiar Actors: Nikolaj Coster-Waldau Molly Parker Robert Forster Gary Cole Macon Blair Jacki Weaver Pat Healy Larry Fessenden and Michael Kinney True Rating: 9/10 This Netlfix original was something else. It kind of reminded of I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore, Green Room, and The Hollow Point with it's intensity and style. It tends to be slightly frantic in it's storytelling which keeps it from being incredible. Also they seem to just throw in characters to keep the story going"
