A good movie
Posted : 8 years, 5 months ago on 3 December 2015 12:33Looking back to this movie, it seems as if it has been made ages ago, when in fact, it was released only a decade ago. Back in those days, Lindsay Lohan was one of the most popular teen idols and she seemed to be on the verge of a very successful career. Well, while I watching this with my step-daughter at the time, we didn’t really expect that she would become first a wild party animal and then a genuine train wreck completely out of control. Eventually, it is actually Lohan’s co-stars, Rachel McAdams and Amanda Seyfried , who both managed to become some of the most successful actresses of their generation (it is even more remarkable for Seyfried considering how shallow her character was in her acting debut). Anyway, coming back to our main feature, even though it was nothing really amazing, I have to admit it that it was a decent watch and probably one of the best high-school comedies ever made. Indeed, basically, it still follows the usual formula without being really revolutionary but the jokes were decent, the characters were quite funny and the whole thing was just plain entertaining. To conclude, this movie will probably be remembered as the last decent movie starring Lindsay Lohan but I still think it is worth a look, especially if you like the genre.
