Movies the giraffe watched in 2021: January (42 movies items)"First viewing - Jan. 18th I wanted to celebrate Martin Luther King Day with some Black films, so I began with this one. And it's pretty excellent, just as you've likely heard. The cast is outstanding, especially Viola Davis and Chadwick Boseman in his final role. I like how it looks at race relations as well as the music industry, and it's a painful reminder of how little progress we've made in America since the time the film takes place in. Absolutely a must see. "
