Description:
Alice is a single mother in a small town, forced to cope with the sudden loss of her only daughter, Lucy. As Alice struggles to fill the void in her life, she becomes lost in her own memories and her daughter's possessions, especially Lucy's piano. To deal with her grief, she sets out to learn how to play the piano. Along the way, Alice must also contend with Mr. Novatney, her crotchety neighbor who seems to care more for his roses bushes than the troubles of others, especially Alice. A sincerely sweet and touching story about facing the unexpected hardships life sometimes throws our way.
