Lucrecia's romanticism mut be found, and the film finds it in some parts, behind the despotic intriguing sxy killing court she is part of. Sexual overtones and fantastic parts (la chasse a l'homme of Serato is excellent, the incestuous attraction of Cesare to his sister) are more than ok.
