"A vanity project for Melissa McCarthy (as co-writer, star and co-producer with husband Ben Falcone directing) in a predictable tale of a middle-aged woman returning to complete her college education. The story goes along with very little laughs and heads towards the sickly sweet ending. Melissa McCarthy is a funny lady but here she is annoying and you wish she could go back to working with Paul Feig, who seems to know how to get the best out of her. Terrible."
