From The Superb To The Crap - Movies Seen In 2016 (284 movies items)"This is a reboot movie of the tokusatsu show Kikaider that was shown during the early 70's in Japan. Those expecting to see a camp movie along the likes of Ultraman featuring monsters threatening Japan will be surprised to see that there's nothing of the kind here and this movie is rather serious with a dark storyline. The original Kikaider series also had some comedic relief for the kids - not so in this reboot. The new and modern take on Kikaider might upset pure fans but I rather enjoyed this"
