Dream of Desire (Hua xin meng li ren) (1989)

A California man with a dull marriage has recurring dreams of a past life with a Chinese woman whom he has killed after she spurned him. He convinces his wife to accompany him to China where he meets a hooker who is the reincarnation of the woman. The hooker runs from him...so will the past be repeated?
