Pay Madame (Fizessen, nagysád!) (1937)
Ágoston Fábry, mill-owner, offers a job to Szilágyi Péter, an experienced man who has spent some time in America, too, if Szilágyi pledges his word not to propose to Zsuzsi, Fábry's daughter. Szilágyi keeps his word, doing nothing but his job, as though Zsuzsi didn't even exist. Zsuzsi, however, falls in love with the handsome, talented young man, and is determined to make a conquest of his heart, and also does her best to put off her wooer, a rich man picked by Zsuzsi's father as her future husband. Fábry reacts by dismissing Szilágyi doing his best to make her lose interest in the man... (MaNDA)
