An average movie

Before writing this review, I didn't expect that so few Listal users had seen it. I mean, I know it was a rather obscure flick but I didn't expect it to be so obscure. Anyway, you have here some pretty good actors at work, Jude Law at the beginning of his career, and also Sadie Frost (his wife at the time) and Ray Winstone. Basically, it is one of those found footage features, a filming technic which is always a cheap way to make a movie and a way to still make it sound more artistic than it actually probably is. At first, the whole thing was a little bit frustrating since Jude Law is on every single promotional item when, in fact, his character is dead even before the movie has started, so I felt kind of cheated at first but since the story was rather intriguing, I was able to put this aside. In this genre, it is a decent effort and I thought it was rather well made with some solid performances but since it didn't break any new grounds, it was still a little bit underwhelming. Still, to conclude, it is a decent flick and it is definitely worth a look, especially if you are a fan of Jude Law.
