Fear Clinic (2014) Reviews

Robert Hall returns to direct this film based off of the web series from 2009. Robert Englund also returns as the doctor which is awesome. I really enjoyed the series so I knew I would be wanting to see this as well. It has a few decent actors here so that is good. I find it interesting to see Corey Taylor starring here. Well it seems that interesting is the incorrect term. Corey Taylor should just stick to music because his acting skills are pretty sad although a few moments kind of made me chuckle. The concept here is somewhat different than the original series. The whole connectedness of the characters fears with the diner shooting were tragic and intriguing. I kind of expected the twist although I thought it was done well. I like that this brings a more supernatural element to the table unlike the series did. At the same time it seemed a little bit goofy. Anyways this was a decent one time watch, but not something I'm going to go out of my way to see again. It would have been awesome to see the entity look like Freddy Krueger haha although I know it would have been copyright. If you like Robert Englund you will get a kick out of it.
