It doesn't do much, if anything, that rocks the boat narratively, but it doesn't need to. Writer/director Steve Kloves gives characters room to breathe, letting the story build in a natural way that feels lived-in and genuine. Pfeiffer certainly is but the singing sings seem aren't very strong whereas the squabbles are the main focus and well, only fairly interesting... kind of like this review."
