The Exorcism of Molly Hartley (2015) Reviews

Thoughts before I watched this.
1. I don't see why they made a sequel to The Haunting of Molly Hartley.
2. Nobody from the original film even returned for this one.
3. It should be interesting to see Devon Sawa as a priest.
4. Steven R. Monroe who directed the first two films of the remake series of I Spit on Your Grave takes on this unasked for sequel.
5. Matt Venne is known for writing sequels.
6. Of his sequels Mirrors 2 was quite fun.
7. White Noise 2 and Fright Night 2 however weren't quite so enjoyable.
8. I'm hoping even though this was unnecessary that it will be one of their better films
9. I'm only watching this because I was feeling exorcism for the end of my Halloween marathon.

Thoughts while I watched this.
1. It seems that pretty much all exorcism movies begin with one.
2. I'm sorry Devon Sawa just doesn't look like a father he looks like he is ready for Halloween though.
3. Looks like this father had similar troubles to than one from Emily Rose, but wasn't as lucky.
4. Wow that seemed like it was meant to just keep males interested.
5. Is that some kind of co-ed bathroom at a club??
6. What is this the horror version of Wild Things?
7. Nice booty though.
8. She is way different than she was in the previous film.
9. Well I didn't expect that, but it makes sense.
10. It may be the lighting, but Devon Sawa's character isn't looking too healthy.
11. What are the odds?
12. That was kind of amusing.
13. Lol this has to be a comedy!
14. Man this doctor is oblivious to the clues.
15. Yeah I'd like to see you try and make sense of that!
16. Felt like it was straight out of The Omen.
17. Okay I know you need his help, but he is a patient at least accompany him.
18. Well that wasn't expected.
19. Yeah that was a bit too obvious.
20. Lmao that was so cheap and cheesy.
21. Ugh that ending was lame.

Thoughts after I watched this.
1. Devon Sawa is really the only good thing about this entire movie.
2. It felt very comedic although I'm sure they thought they were going for scary.
3. It seemed to blatantly rip off a few ideas from other demonic films.
4. The story seemed a bit all over the place.
5. There were several bits that absolutely would not happen the way they did.
6. I feel sad that this was the final movie I watched in my Halloween marathon.
7. I recommend passing on this one as it's worse than the previous film.
