"Plot: A youth and a panoply of "frankensteins" are hurtled into the past where they become integral parts of the Civil War. With a title like "Army of Frankensteins" the movie knows exactly what it is, however, it feels like it largely forgot to have the balls-out fun the ridiculous concept demands (some judicious editing would of helped, also). Dare I say, the movie needed to be more campy and outrageous. As it stands it's a goofy, ambitiously charming, though somewhat flat-feeling z-grade in"
