Description:
Frost is the son of actor Warren Frost, brother of writer Scott Frost and actress Lindsay Frost. He studied acting, directing, and playwriting at Carnegie Tech in Pittsburgh. He left his junior year and began his career in television, film, and literature. In 1975, he co-wrote two episodes of The Six Million Dollar Man, before returning to his hometown of Minneapolis to write stage plays for the Guthrie Theatre. Between 1982 and 1985, he co-wrote a number of Hill Street Blues episodes, and directed one.
