Lori Rom, born Loren Rom on August 16, 1975, in Red Bank, New Jersey, is an American actress. She attended Carnegie Mellon University's drama conservatory and has worked in television, film, and voice/motion-capture performances.
Rom is particularly known for appearing in Dawson's Creek, Providence, Jack & Jill, Party of Five, Strong Medicine, The Chronicle, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, House, Cold Case, CSI: NY, Life, and NCIS: Los Angeles.
She was originally cast as Phoebe Halliwell in the unaired pilot of Charmed. After Rom left the series, Alyssa Milano was cast as Phoebe for the new pilot and subsequent series.
