(Worst) Movie Watch List of 2020

The main drawback of this movie is the sledge hammer over the head approach of the producers to, literally, pound home their intent. God. Could have been much more entertaining had this NOT been the movies main objective. This was highlighted by the repeated nightly prayers (we get it already it's a Christian movie!) and the music montages all about the message. Tiresome.

A second problem was the potential for untold story that was left on the cutting room floor. Such as Charlie and his wife discussing having Rose and Katie coming to stay with them when Charlie (presumedly) discovers the two are living in a junked out old car (instead of him showing up at the hospital and then BOOM the two are moving in). Or the phone call involving Charlie and his estranged son reconnecting after years apart. That could have been emotional gold. But instead we got repetitive scenes with Katie making faces in the bathroom mirror, nightly prayers that seemed to last forever and extended music montages that only served AGAIN to pound home a message that was quite clear after about 20 minutes of the movie.

The first 40 minutes of this movie is a fantastic recap of the career of one of wrestlings all-time greatest villians. The "Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase. From his days in the Bill Watts owned Mid-South to his days in the Crockett owned Carolina territory to his career defining character run in WWF it's all touched on (albiet briefly) in this first 40 minutes. Then the wheels comes off and it descends into a boring mess that zeroes in on Ted's well known love of OTHER woman (meaning not his wife) and for the next hour we get to rehash it over and over and over. We get Ted's reactions, we get his two sons (very dramatized) reaction, we get his wifes reaction...along with Ted's pastor, friends, family, co-workers, the mailman and people who've never heard of him. Seriously!

A movie just on his wrestling career is way overdue and I'd watch that. Or a movie just about his faith and his diddling of every ring rat that came near would be interesting (for some) but when you combine both it's like a boring version of the stuff you see on CBN without Pat Robertson's looney commenary. Avoid!

This trainwreck opened with the redhead (Lou) beating the crap out of a random chick for no apparent reason. This was literally the only interesting part in the movie. Though they did need to fill up the other 90 some odd minutes of runtime so here's a recap: Chantel (the black girl) got raped by her ex-boyfriend, Kyle and in retaliation Lou...(wait for it) hit the car of Kyle the rapist with a pipe, once or twice, (talk about revenge!). Then, as if it could get any dumber, Chantel and Lou's brain dead mothers force the girls to pay Kyle the rapist off. YES that really happened.

Why? "Because guys like Kyle always get away it..."

I'm honestly surprised Kyle the rapist didnt get a shot at Lou as well. Since nothing ever happened to him he surely feels he can do it again and this POS of a movie shows exactly why he should. This is creative at it's finest!

Since neither of these weak pathetic girls are "firecrackers" I suggest the title of the film should be changed to something that better describes them as the writer/director wants you to think of them, how about "victims"?
