These are mainly traditional and/or identifiably Welsh dishes- laverbread, leeks, lamb, bara brith and Welshcakes for instance- rather than haute cuisine in top Welsh restaurants. Of course general British food like fish & chips, fruit crumble and apple pie, included here, are popular too, as are pizzas, Indian curries like Chicken Tikka Masala... and American fast food. I didn't know that the now international drink Tango was started in Wales. There are fine Welsh wines: Ancre Hill 2008 vintage was voted best sparkling wine in the world at an international event, Llanerch and Parva vineyards among others of note.
