The VSFS 2013 in my opinion

The highlight of this section, for me, was Jourdan. I thought her outfit was really nice (except for that white thing around her waist area) and her walk really has me paying attention. So, yeah, nicely done.

- side note – I laughed at her runway prep. – end of the side note – I thought Adriana looked really beautiful, not that I understood her outfit entirely well (but at least they've stuck to a color scheme).

I really liked her there, which to me came out as a real surprise, considering I was looking at it and thinking “WTH”, but I think considering her looks and such, the whole rocker chick thing really works for me.

her outfit was mostly like “WTF”, I know it was supposed to be Beatles inspired and such, but I think it turned out to be quite a fail, however, since she can walk that kinda distracts you from it.

the outfit was alright. I mean, she looks quite like a “paquita”, the kind of stage assistant we had at a TV show when I was young, but still, alright. She doesn’t really catch my eye though…

I really liked her outfit, she looked really polished and such, which I fancy, and she, like Cara, is one of the girls I really hoped to be in the British Invasion, cause it made total sense for the Brits to be in it anyway, but I wasn’t such a fan of her walk.

I didn’t really understand the purpose of her outfit (but I didn’t really know what that was all about when the pictures first came out)… I thought it was a weak walk, like no energy at all…

I was already disappointed by the fact she was wearing this year’s Fantasy Bra, so, it didn’t make me any happier to hear she would be opening the show… ¬¬’ But, well, I thought her opening was pretty bland and a lot of girls could have done better. Didn’t even like the FB all that much… To me the expression of the picture above defines how I was when while I was watching her.

Plus: what was the deal with the gloves this year, VS?

Didn’t really like her outfit. I thought it was too much information for a single thing and I was overall “meh” at her walking down the runway.

She went down the runway pretty unnoticed to me. Might have been due to the editing or maybe not, don't know.

It might not have been her fault, I mean, she got stuck with a terrible outfit. What was the point of having that rain coat the way it was? I know the theme was to be British-y, but I think it could have been best if they had gone with only the outlines of it. The way it was done pretty much made the lingerie underneath it unnecessary since you can’t see it anyway. I thought she came out pretty weak on the walk.

It was really hard for me to pick between her and Cindy for the worst of the 1st segment. But I had to go Cara here, because Cara’s walk was so bad during it I thought she would fall at some point… As for the outfit… Well, I’m trying to think of something that might make it sound appealing, but, there just is none…

I mean... The bra might be alright?

Even though she was mostly covered up, I think Toni killed it. I think it’s a huge difference to get models who are pretty and can actually walk. I find them incredibly eye-catching and they actually make me look forward to seeing them again.

She looked absolutely great for this. I loved that she opened this segment and, more often than not, I think VS underestimates her, which is a shame. I think the sort of wings they've given her has such a fluidity and movement I've really enjoyed.

I think it came out as sort of a tie between Alessandra and Lindsay. I liked the sort of ethereal look the two of them brought to their outfits and how they seem to be having fun and such. But, I like Alessandra's outfit best.

Mostly what I've said about Alessandra, but, I don't know, it might be the corset or the color scheme I'm not particularly fond of on her...

I’ve really enjoyed this. Overall, I like Karlie, I think she’s a great model, just don’t like her for VS, I don’t think she’s got the body for it. And, I must say Karlie is one to whom the piece of cloth that covers up the midriff actually works. (though it looks like plastic and I didn't like it)

I thought her walking down that runway was really magnificent. However, she got stuck with this outfit that I must say I haven't liked at all. I don't like the corset sort of thing and I don't really get the bright colored lingerie...

I must say I’m definitely glad to see an Asian model make it to the VS mainline and not just Pink. I think the Asians tend to have a real elegant look while walking, and she didn’t disappoint me in that department. However, she didn’t really have all that much screen time, which I find to be a shame. Her outfit was pretty cute to me, but I think they could have worked a different color scheme for her.

I really liked the power stare at the end of the runway. I liked the wing sort of thing they've given her, but the corset kinda sucks. I think overall she would be helped with a different outfit.

I thought she was pretty cute at this segment. However, I’m a little thrown off by her attitude when that segment was over and they were talking about the deserted Island thing and she went like: “I’m African, I can make fire!”, and I’m like “Go stereotypes!” – I’m Brazilian, so, I must love soccer and Carnival. ¬¬’

To me this was definitely better than the British Invasion, but I still think it kinda lacked energy… Not to mention that I've hated this robe-ish sort of thing they've given her... She would have been better off without it.

I’m sure the song didn’t particularly help, but I was kinda missing some energy or the fun VS tends to inspire me, and, most specially, I didn’t like her face. And I thought the lingerie didn't really suit her or the kind of model she wants to portray.

I loved her outfit and I think it looked great, but, she's gotten so little screen time I might have focused more on the negative… I tend to like her, and, the outfit with the wings was good, she just didn’t have time to portray it to the camera.

Let's all take a moment here to admire Adriana, why? Because this, people, is like an opening should be done! Everything worked incredibly on her favor here, she did an amazing job, the clothes were great, not to mention red really, really suits her. She's got the energy, the personality, seriously, all VS should actually look for in a girl.

I think the color scheme really suits Joan here and it's definitely flattering. I loved that for this segment the clothes weren't all just over-the-top VS style, and I think the sort of more simplistic thing they had going on is nicer. Joan also really catches my eye by the end of the runway.

I loved her walk for the segment. I really did. I loved the hair flip too, I thought that was great. I'm not crazy about her outfit, but when she turns around you can see that parts of it really favor her attributes.

Alessandra is another one of the girls that I think are just quite suitable for the VS runway. She's also got the personality and such that kinda wins you over. Loved the wings, don't like the outfit. I don't think the color scheme really works for her.

I really don't like the robe and there's nothing about this outfit that's particularly eye catching for me. Especially not on Jourdan. I think they could have switched this one for the one Alessandra had. Would work best for the two of them. But, well, Jourdan is a great walker, that kinda distracts me from the fact I hated her clothes.

I was glad to see Cindy was given another shot here, and I think this time she did better than the first one, but... I really don't like this outfit. I think there are so many things I dislike here it's hard to list, but, I'll try... The sparkly leaves and sort of furry thing on the arms? No. The bright colored lingerie? No. The fringe and the abdomen covering corset?No.

What I missed in Lais throughout the segment was a more vibrant walk. I think she's really pretty, and this outfit definitely doesn't favor her body. Not to mention I don't quite get the headpiece...

I still don't like her walk, but I think the outfit was quite nice for her. I think she mostly lacked the whole energetic, flirty vibe... I like what she gives backstage though, which I think it's interesting that she can't seem to bring that work up to the runway...

I think Kelly has this interesting look, something I would like to see more, what I don't understand is: why is VS pushing her to the mainline instead of Pink? This hasn't worked for her in my opinion cause: at times she looked sort of nervous while walking (which I suppose is understandable, but something we should never see written across a model's face), and, I severely dislike the fringed corset kind of thing they've given her.

I didn't like her walk at all. She always had this sour look going on and it was really not pleasing. The flirty part at the end of the runway kinda saved her. And, well, I really don't like the upper body thing they've gotten her on, so, yeah, overall she didn't really impress me.

Oh Cara... Why was she my least favorite, again? Well, her walk sucks, we've already verified that. This time around they've given her the sort of heavy duty rubber gloves that I don't quite understand or like, it was just bad. And then... Ta-dah! There's Cara's goofy faces and the fact that I don't buy her trying to be sexy. Like... At all.

I didn't like the outfit much, I think what she's been given to work was sort of bland, but I think Alessadra gives off the sort of vibe I expect from a VS girl. She makes it flirty, she makes it seem like she's having fun, and I really enjoy it.

Lais was really cute and I loved it for her. I think I was missing sort of this from her when she did the Parisian Nights. Also a more energetic opening than Candice's. Not sure what in the world was the idea for her shoes here...

I liked it. I thought the outfit was quite nice, and I liked the sort of wings that kind of remind me of fireworks. How she moved at the end was also pleasing.

One of the best fitting outfits I've seen. The colors look magnificent on her, and I think it's the first time in which I think the corset actually compliments something. Her walk seemed a little sloppy, but I liked the whole shushing thing.

Really liked her outfit with the wing thing and their color, but I would have preferred if she had soften up her expression a bit while on the runway. Her smile at the end of it is just beautiful.

There's something about this color scheme I don't quite dig, even though the light blue definitely works for Jacquelyn. Her face looks great. I think she could use some more energy too.
