Note : What a terrible movie! It is basically a very bad remake of Dirty Dancing (which I'm not really fond of to start with). The dancing sequences are pretty cool but the story is weak, the dialogs are just laughable and the performnances by the whole cast are just very poor.

Note : Back in the 90's, I watched the first Street Fighter flick and it immediatly became one of the worst movies I have ever seen. So, almost 20 years later, I watch another Street Fighter flick (I know... It is borderline masochism!) and guess what? It was pretty bad as well... I mean, not as bad as the Jean-Claude Van Damme vehicle but still pretty horrendous.

All About Steve (2009)

Note : It is not really that the directing was awfull and I do think that the actors did their best with this material but it's just that the whole thing was just so poorly written, I couldn't believe it. Basically, it is a big succession of irrational actions and behaviors which should make you laugh but, instead, makes you despise or feel sorry for the characters involved.

Note : I didn't expect much from this flick and indeed it was pretty bad. The only thing positive was that it wasn't worse than the first movie, that's it... But I can't say it was better either though. The most incredible thing is that this sequel was actually a success, even one of the most succesfull movies ever made!

Note : Do you know what is worse than a movie starring Eddie Murphy? A familly movie starring Eddie Murphy... This flick was again a huge flop for Mr Murphy and it is not a surprise, I'm afraid. I mean, the whole thing was just embarrassing to watch and I barely laughed during the whole thing. Is it supposed to be fun for kids? I don't think so.

Dragonball Evolution (2009)

Note : The story was rather faithfull to the cartoon but the dialogs were ridiculous and the special effects were just pathetic. One of the worst thing was that the movie started like an average standard high-school comedy?!? To conclude, it was not as bad as, for example, 'Street Fighter II' and they were some nice ideas but the end result is still pretty boring, ugly and not entertaining whatsoever.

The Six Wives of Henry Lefay (2009)

Note : I keep watching movies starring Tim Allen and each time, I'm amazed how worthless his movie are. This movie is an awkward and embarrassing mix of dark comedy and drama. The jokes stink and are sometimes even tasteless and when they try to get serious, the whole thing just gets painfully corny.

The Pink Panther 2 (2009)

Note : The first Pink Panther remake was quite terrible and it was rather surprising that they decided to go for a sequel since the first installment was a complete disaster, at least critically. At least, they couldn’t make a worst movie, it seemed rather unlikely and, indeed, it wasn't worse but it wasn't really better either, I’m afraid.

Labor Pains (2009) (2009)

Note : For many years already, Lindsay Lohan has been the biggest trainwreck in Hollywood. Recently, the great Philip Seymour Hoffman died of an overdose and you wonder how, on the other hand, Lohan is still around after all the mess she has been through. What is even more remarkable is that she has still managed to (more or less) work during those years. However, except maybe for ‘Machete’ which was not bad, all her recent releases have been truly dreadful and this movie was not an exception, that’s for sure. Even though it was supposed to be originally made for the movie theaters, it was released as a TV feature so I wasn’t expecting much and, indeed, it was just really weak.
johanlefourbe's rating:

Serious Moonlight (2009)

Note : The whole thing works almost like a play, it takes place mostly in one single house, and Hutton and Ryan are basically on their own during the whole thing with some guest appearances by Kristen Bell and Justin Long. There was nothing wrong with the set-up but it is pretty tricky and to make it work, you need some great characters and/or some great actors and it was here not the case, I’m afraid. Honestly, I’m not sure what was the biggest issue, the characters of the actors themselves, but there was one sure thing is that it was quite cringe-inducing to behold.
