Toy Story 3 (2010)
This is my favourite in the Toy Story franchise. Some parts are funny, some parts are dark and some parts are sad.

Toy Story 2 (1999)
This is my second favourite film in the franchise. The outtakes at the end really made me laugh and I like the addition of new characters such as Jessie and Bullseye.

Shrek 2 (2004)
This is my personal favourite of the Shrek franchise. Even though Fiona is mostly an ogre in this, it has more laughs and a slight change of scenery compared to the original.

Shrek the Third (2007)
Not the best Shrek film, but it still had its funny moments and an incredible rendition of Led Zeppelin's 'Immigrant Song.'
Stompgal87's rating:
Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa (2008)
This addition to the Madagascar franchise is just as good as the original.

The Rescuers Down Under (1990)
I watched this film immediately after the original on a flight home from Dubai. The animation is more detailed and fluid than that in the original where it was linear and quite flat. For its entertainment value, it is another sequel that is every bit as good as its predecessor.
Stompgal87's rating:
I recently purchased this film as a double pack with the original. The animation in this is better than that based on the clips of 'The Hunchback of Notre Dame 2' and 'Atlantis: Milo's Return' in the Nostalgia Chick's 'Top 10 Worst Disney sequels - those two look like extended Saturday morning cartoons! Most of the plot in this film is similar to that of the original but I like the new character additions of Wendy's headstrong daughter, Jane, and cute son, Danny (he reminds me of Michael in the first film).
Stompgal87's rating:
This sequel is better than Cinderella II. Its music is slightly more memorable than that in 'Cinderella II (see below)' and it has its funny moments, especially when Jaq and Gus re-enact Lady Tremaine stealing the Fairy Godmother's wand and undoing Cinderella's spell . I also like Lucifer's transformation as a human in the climax.
Stompgal87's rating:
I was sceptical about this sequel when it was released in 2002 but when the Nostalgia Chick made me re-discover it, I gave it a go. I liked the fact that it had three stories rolled into one, my favourite involving Anastasia falling for a common baker, much to the disapproval of Lady Tremaine and Drizella. I must admit the music in this is pretty forgettable compared to that in the other two Cinderella films.
Stompgal87's rating:
I watched this film a long time ago and while most of it was unmemorable, the running gag of Meeko the racoon becoming seasick still remains on my mind.
Stompgal87's rating:
This list includes my 10 favourite sequels to Disney classics and Pixar films.
