Shunsuke will probably forever be known for his Dragon Ball Z soundtracks. While I have taken a liking to his other works he did for the giant robot genre such as Getter Robo and Doraemon, Dragon Ball Z is the point where I felt he truly knuckled down and probe into the deep recesses of the human experience. Without his assistance, those brilliant moments such as the Goku/Vegeta fight, Goku's battle with the Ginyu Force, Trunks inaugural Super Saiyan transformation etc just wouldn't have the same impact. An honourable mention goes to his more pop-oriented Sakigake!! Otokojuku (one of my favourite animes) which I felt had an appropriately humorous bent to it.
