Story: quite linear
Side quests: unlocking jobs, town building
Combat: turn and job based with a party of four
Language: Japanese/English voices, various options for text
Related to the Final Fantasy franchise, quite similar in feeling to the RPGs of the SNES and PS1 eras. A bit repetetive, but auto battles with fast forwarding helps with that.
The sequel Bravely Second came out 2015 in Japan and will be released 2016 in EU and NA.
