"This game is a celebration of everything that once made Square/Squaresoft the king of JRPG's. It's what made the first 6 Final Fantasy games awesome. It is decidedly old-school in it's approach, and it is glorious. But, BUT! It also adds some much needed alterations to the formula, and I have to applaud these changes, because I now consider them to be so essential that I will knock any JRPG game that DOESN'T have these features ONE- Being able to scale the rate of your random encounters.
