I think anyone would agree, it's hard to pick your favourite songs. Just like with movies, there are tonnes and tonnes of songs that I really love, but there are a few that stand head and shoulders above all the rest.
Now, just to clarify something, I don't actually own all the albums that these songs were recorded for. So if you see a best-of compilation representing a particular song on this list, that's only because that's the compilation I own, so that's the version of the song I'm familiar with. And, in the case of numbers 22, 17, 14, 11, 10, 4 and 2, I didn't even bother to buy the whole albums; I either downloaded the songs or ripped the individual tracks from someone who happened to have albums that featured them.
Also, there a couple of instances where more than one song from a particular album makes the top thirty. Well, luckily, there are duplicate pages for most albums on this site. :) In those circumstances, the highest-ranking song on the list will be represented by the page I myself have marked "owned".
So here we go. These are my top thirty personal favourite songs โ or tracks, whatever you want to call them.
