The Addams Family has been one of my favourite franchises since I was very little. I have a soft spot for Wednesday because she's a creepy, smart, amazing kid (and she's played by Christina Ricci, who I've always been told I resemble... I don't, we both just have bigggg eyes). I was always a fan of gothic stuff when I was a kid.

Almost Famous (2000)
This movie is beautiful. It shows so many faucets of humanity. Jealousy, anger, love, fear. It needs to be watched to be appreciated and is very difficult to describe. And Penny Lane is incredible.

Addams Family Values (1993)
This movie was a great follow up to the first. The one-liners alone are a reason to watch. It's fantastic, truly.

Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982)
One of the best teen movies ever made. It tackles the real issues - love, sex and teen pregnancy and handles them in a realistic way. Not to mention you see Phoebe Cates boobs, and there's nothing bad about that.

"To know Lloyd Dobler is to love him... Diane Court is about to know Lloyd Dobler." The tag line pretty much sums it up. It's one of the most romantic stories and has been on my list since I was about eleven years old. Luckily for me, I've found a guy very much like Lloyd.

This is my all-time favourite love story and is my go-to movie when I'm feeling down. How can you not love it? It's funny and sweet and when it's over you need to wipe up your heart and pour it back into your chest.

Gary Oldman makes the best bad guy. I can't accurately describe this movie in a way that will do it justice. I think it's one of those films that is a different experience for everyone, but personally I adore it. I think it's sweet and funny, and has the right amount of violent beauty. Just... go watch it. NOW!

Dark, twisted and dirty. I found it was beautifully made, shot in a way that wasn't clean or crisp. It added a dimension to the story that would have been marred otherwise. Not to mention, Mila Kunis and Natalie Portman are probably two of the most gorgeous women on the planet. The music was also very pretty, I read somewhere that Clint Mansell took the original music for Swan Lake and manipulated it, playing some parts backwards even. Whatever he did, I enjoyed it.

Obviously, I am a sucker for Natalie Portman (can you blame me, she's gorgeous AND talented), but that isn't the only reason why I love this movie. I think it's brilliant in the way it depicts relationships of all kinds in a true-to-life way. I think it also contains some really important life lessons.
