SLC Punk! tries to be many things at once: a witty socio-political commentator, a exploiter of how it is to survive under rules, and sympathizer of punk-rockers.
But whatever its aims are, and regardless of what it ultimately achieves, SLC Punk! is undeniably a cool, off-kilter, quirky film that doesn't disappoint.
Matthew Lillard (otherwise best known as Shaggy from the Scooby Doo films) gives an excellent performance. Til Schwieger was also memorable in his role!
