Resident Evil - GameCube
Very good game. Nice story and horror scenarios. Can be very frustrating if you don't understand the puzzles or where to go next. It's a difficult game but it's not supposed to be for children or people with the same mind set as a child. Buttons seem to be flawless and the camera angles are simply perfect and really adds to the suspense. The enemies are no push overs, especially the dogs and the end boss which makes this feel like a great accomplishment if you manage to complete it. The only downside to this is that there's no multiplayer but that's to be expected with such an old game. Lets just say i'd prefer to play this in single player than playing any of the new resident evil games in multiplayer, they are quite terrible compared to this game and have left the old recipes and game mechanics that made this one such a gem of a game. A well deserved 5 stars.

Mario Kart: Double Dash!! - GameCube
This game is hands down better than any other Mario Kart game. The controls are flawless, the gameplay is intense. This game is supposed to be played multiplayer, the single player loses its playability once you've already unlocked the rewards. If anyone hates this game, it's either because they have no friends to play it with to enjoy the game as its supposed to be or they just can't stand Mario in general. The special weapons are what makes this game shine brighter than any other Mario Kart game. The characters have special weapons set to them that no other character can get (except their partner, for example; Mario and Luigi both get the same special item). There's quite alot of tracks to choose from, the Karts are more or less balanced and the items are very well placed around each course.

Pokemon: Blue Version - Game Boy
If you don't like the idea of collecting, battling and level 'grinding', this game really isn't for you. For me I love that sort of thing, not so much the grinding, but if you're new to it you can put up with it. This game has such a winning formula that there's still sequels being made with it! The idea of collecting up to 151 different 'Monsters' and fighting your friends with them is what makes this game almost endless. Without friends to play with, you wouldn't be able to collect all 150(1) unless you used cheats or had the oposite version. It feels very rewarding having collected all the different types of monsters and being able to swap them into your party. The very disappointing aspect of the game is once you've completed the game you get a certificate that pretty much says well done.. after the trouble of completing the game fully (over 100 hours of gameplay) you'd expect something alot more rewarding, off the top of my head, a rare pokemon you can only get after completing the game for example, anything is better than a few pixels saying GOOD JOB or something similar. The multiplayer is what makes this game so good. Just about 5 stars. If you don't have friends to play it with I wouldn't bother with it.

WWE SmackDown! Here Comes the Pain - PlayStation 2
'Before wrestling became too realistic'. This game kept the arcade style of just beating each other to hell, it has damage over time but it doesn't make it a game stopper like the recent games have today, even if you've been hammered by multiple wrestling moves you can still fight back, change the tide and maybe even win. With wrestling games today, once you've hit a finisher you've pretty much won.

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games - Nintendo DS
Terrible game, would not recommend this game to anyone. Very tedius gameplay, even the multiplayer is boring. It's one of those games that tried to sell off the whole 'Olympics buzz'. I'd prefer to play Pong.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - Nintendo 64
Arguably the best single player game for N64. The story if very interesting and almost touching. You're a character called Link and the main objective is to save a princess named Zelda. You start off as young Link and eventually grow into grown up Link. The game has so much interesting puzzles and amazing bosses to defeat. It makes you wish the game would continue once you've finished it. You must use your brain in this game, you can't just hack and slash your way through it. You must be able to carry out such tasks as shooting targets to open doors in the water temple. It can be very frustrating if you have no idea how to complete certain puzzles, so I would adivse people that don't want to spend much time on a game to play something else. The story is really what makes you addicted, you'll want to go back to play more until you've completed it. 5 stars.
