A funny show for sure. It's along the lines of 'Portlandia' or 'Nick Swardson's Pretend Time', but surely better than 'Pretend Time'. Nick Kroll unleashes his comedic talents, those in which seem very limited in 'The League'. Here, he is able to stretch it to his liking. A series that I'd Definitely recommend, but it is indeed an acquired taste. It works for me.

Fails to grab many laughs out of me. I sort of like the lead character, but it's far too by-the-books to stand out as the next great comedy. It isn't bad, but there are many more, better ways to spend your time.

The Following (2013)
January
Shockingly suspenseful for a television show, 'The Following' manages to pull you in and hold your attention, all the while maintaining a solid amount of just about everything. Kevin Bacon shines, and the writing is good enough to keep you wondering until the final act of each episode. For sure one of the best shows of 2013.
