Favorite Male Characters

Sasuke is a nice guy. Usually he acts like a jerk but he is actually soft-hearted. He is sort of a Tsundere as he do like and care for his teammates, yet he always gave them the cold shoulder. And whenever Naruto teased him, he will blush and shout at Naruto: "Kono Usuratonkachi!".

When he was small, he was an adorable kid who loves and follow his brother around. He is constantly pestering his brother to help him train, and did whatever he can to impress him. Although he was considered a child prodigy by others, Sasuke was no where near Itachi's level of genius. Due to this, his father neglected Sasuke and fully focus his attention on Itachi, who will become the next heir of the Uchiha Clan. Sasuke spent his days training, hoping to catch up with Itachi and to gain his father's acknowledgement. When Itachi started behaving weirdly after joining the Anbu, his father shifted his attention to Sasuke, while still comparing him to Itachi and looked at Sasuke as a disappointment. After weeks of hard training, eventually his father recognised him as his son and a prodigy as well. However Sasuke believed that this change of attitude was only because his father treated him as a replacement of Itachi. Even before the Uchiha incident, Sasuke seems to be quiet and anti-social in school, with his life revolving only around his family and clan.

He went through a really horrified childhood, where his whole clan was massacre by Itachi. Everything was taken away from him. He was the sole survivor and lived his life as an avenger. His time was frozen at the age of 8 years old, and have not mature since then. The whole clan's hatred was put on his shoulders. He was lonely and reject everyone else, stating that he is different from the rest. His dream exist in the past, not the future. He could not accept the happiness that later came infront of him, Team 7, and chose to cling on to his role of an avenger given to him by his brother.

Whether his ambition is correct or wrong, i admire his determination and persistence in achieving it, even to the point of sacrificing his own happiness. He feared that staying with his friends and living a peaceful life will make him give up his ambition, so he cut the bonds with them. He is willing to put himself in tough and dangerous position so that he will work hard, and he is willing to work hard. Naruto and Lee are known for their hardwork, yet Sasuke is no where behind them. Sasuke was often shown saying that he would rather finish up missions quickly so he could train and always turn down offer to hang out for the same reason. He was called a child prodigy, but he is a prodigy that train his whole life. He is not the same as Itachi and Kakashi who became an Anbu Jounin at an age before Sasuke even graduated the Academy. Sasuke is always loyal to his goal, having only one goal in mind.

There was no one there for him through all the bad times, the loneliness he felt must be so great. He is often seen staring at the sky, looking into the river, daydreaming. It was also noted that his eyes are not looking at whats infront, seeing things that only he can see, his past. This strengthen his will to take revenge, which he always remember whenever he is in a near-death situation. Despite saying that he can't die until he achieve his goal, he took several life threatening attacks to protect Naruto, commented that his body moved on its own. During his fight with Gaara, he told Naruto to quickly escape with Sakura and was ready to sacrifice himself because he doesn't want to see people important to him die infront of him again. He might seems self-centered as a result of being alone for such a long time, but he is really a selfless person who can sacrifice himself. And he is an avenger who lived his life for to avenge his Clan. He gave up happiness that was right infront of him because he is the sole survivor that has the responsibility of avenging for his whole clan. He was also ready to throw away his own life if it means that for Orochimaru to take over his body is the only way of killing Itachi. People who self-sacrifice shows that they know pain and had suffered alot in their life, and they grow even stronger through that.

Although Sasuke turn especially cold after the timeskip, he was shown to still having his morals when he order Suigetsu to not kill unless necessary. He also protected his Team Hebi and was caring enough to ask if they are alright. Even when he was exhausted, he refused to leave his teammate to die, shows he kept his moral, and is loyal and warm-hearted.

Sasuke is a really innocent character. He trusted people too much and was easily manipulated by Itachi, Orochimaru, and later by Obito. This was due to his world being frozen when he was small, but it's kind of cute how he is actually such a boy at heart. However, this curse was lifted after his reunion with Edo-Itachi, where Sasuke was finally able to think for himself and came to a decision of what he wants to do with his life.

He also appear very calm and aloof in most situations, which makes him seems so cold. But he is actually putting up a tough front, hiding his feelings, and inside him he actually cares so much more. He also does not fall for any seduction, temptation or trap. And manage to come up with strategy and hypothesis during battle. His mind is always on the go, taking in information and analysing it.

Sasuke is a complex character that is well thought out. I have a soft spot for characters with sad past. He is one really confused being whose life is full of sufferings. Sasuke is an emo person, and personally i can relate alot to him and his actions. If it was me in his shoes, i would have did the same thing. If i was alive in Naruto Verse, i would be the same as Naruto, chasing him everywhere trying to help him and be there for him. Oh and the one who cause him such suffering is Danzo. Glad he's dead.

I also love his character design. Clothing and accessories, his voice, and his fighting style. I like his speed and fluid movements, and i love lightning, sword, shuriken and wires.

Gaara lived a very sad life. He lost his mother since he was born, and was made a Jinchuuriki by his father, who later tried to murder him 6 times. Being a Jinchuuriki, all the villagers avoided him and detested him. He did not had any friends. Even his beloved uncle, Yashamaru, tried to kill him and lied to him that no one ever loved him right before his death. Due to this, Gaara thought he wasn't loved and hated everybody, loving only himself.

Gaara had a really evil and cruel personality before he met naruto, due to his traumatic dark past. After he got influence by Naruto, he decided to make the Suna Villagers accept him by changing his actions. Although the villagers are still against him, attempting murder whenever possible. However he ownself stop intimidating them and sort to create a bond from scratch. He knew that this would take alot of hardwork, and definitely alot of courage. Eventually, he won over the trust of the whole village and is made the Kazekage. He became the aloof and charismatic leader, who always prioritize protecting others in battle. He is a man of few words and prefer to let his actions do the talking. He is also shown to be strategic while fighting, as seen by his battle with the Nidaime Mizukage.
