Childhood Nightmares

Well the puppets in general creeped me out, but these two especially did so.

Poldi

Actually he wasn't that frightening and I liked him most of the time, but at some point I thought he was creepy and he wanted to eat all of the other puppets.

Nepomuk

He scared me even before he appeared on screen. He lived in this dark castle and was grumpy with a deep and loud voice. I couldn't look at the TV when he appeared. When I see him now after all these years I have to say he looks rather cute :D

I don't know the original names for the characters as I've only seen the German version of this.

Oscar

I honestly don't know why. :D

Graf Zahl

He spoke with a weird voice, he was a freaking vampire (my older brother was so nice to point out they drink human blood) plus he annoyed me because all he did was counting. Come on how lame is that...

Schnuffi

I couldn't find a picture of big bird's friend so I found this video. This thing gave me the creeps and I still think it looks creepy and talks hideously.

It was an alright movie until Eddie Murphy's character had these nightmares of getting fat again. In one he was on the beach with his girlfriend and when he lay on her to make out she vanished in the sand. Another nightmare was him as a giant walking through the city to her window. She gave him something to eat and he farted, when some guy lit a match the whole world exploded. At that point I had started crying so my parents sent me to sleep which didn't go so well.

Cruella De Vil

She looked like THAT, and she wanted to kill those cute little puppys.

Kaa

This snake was evil and creepy.

This thing scared the crap out of me and my brother didn't help with telling me such a thing lived under my bed. Thanks for that :D

Yes, I was afraid of the stone people even though they were nice.

Gmork

One of the many many wolves I was afraid of. As a child I had always been having nightmares with one particular wolf in it, but wolves like Gmork didn't make it easier.
