Leigh Blackmore was the editor of "Terror Australis : the best of Australian horror" (Mass Market Paperback โ€“ 1993) which was an anthology. However, he has also edited a magazine of the same name and many newsletters.

He has contributed to anthologies, published weird poetry ("Spores from Sharnoth and Other Madnesses"), and plays in a band. Leigh's influence in writers groups and horror associations is significant.
