Adolfo Consolini

Italian athletics champion Adolfo Consolini won a gold medal in 1948 London Olympics (in the picture above), a silver medal in 1952 Helsinki Olympics and 3 gold medals in European athletics Championships (1946, 1950, 1954). He was World recordman of discus throw in 1941, in 1946 and in 1948.
Adolfo Consolini is considered among the all-time best athletics champions in the world.
