Jordan's name was inspired by actress Jordan Ladd whom Bobbitt's parents were working with on [Never Been Kissed (1999)] while pregnant with their daughter. They loved the name Jordan from [The Great Gatsby (1974)] and Ladd was so lovely, the name became their front runner. Ladd later expressed that she was extremely touched that Baby Jordan was her namesake.
