John Hope was an American Meteorologist who specialized in Hurricane forecasting and was an on-air personality and a Hurricane Specialist at The Weather Channel.
In the Early years, Hope served as a flight navigator in the United States Army Air Forces during World War II, John earned a degree in Meteorology from the University of Illinois, Hope was a forecaster with the National Weather Service in Memphis, Tennessee, John also began working for the National Hurricane Center back in 1968, after 32 years at the National Weather Service.
