Born: Oakland, California.
Soo was caught up in the Japanese-American internment during World War Two and sent to 'Topaz War Relocation Center' in Utah. Fellow internees recalled him as a "camp favorite" entertainer, singing at dances and numerous events.
Soo died from esophageal cancer on January 11th 1979 aged 61.
