Landed his breakthrough role starring in the 2013 film Palo Alto. He has since appeared in films such as The Nice Guys and The Stanford Prison Experiment. He had never acted before prior to Palo Alto. He narrated the 2021 bio-pic of his father, Val Kilmer, titled Val, while also appearing in the documentary as himself and serving as an associate producer. He has gone on to appear in over two dozen different films, TV series' and music videos. He met Palo Alto director Gia Coppola in the 1st grade while attending The Center for Early Education in Los Angeles.
