Definitely the best game on the Wii
Posted : 1 year, 10 months ago on 16 July 2022 08:05I just got this game for Christmas, and I've only played up to the first dungeon. My first impressions are that the beginning starts out rather slow, but the pace quickens once you get near a dungeon. The art style is beautiful, with only a few bad textures and models. There is a background filter to make all background objects look like an actual painting. The music is a first for a Zelda game-it is finally played by an actual orchestra. Many of the themes are highly atmospheric or just plain epic, especially later tracks (I spoiled myself before I got this game). From what I've seen, the cutscenes are some of the best in the series. and are very cinematic, with all animations motion-captured with live actors. Facial animations are also amazing, and the end results are highly lifelike cutscenes. I highly recommend this game. Please note that you must have a Wii Remote Plus or the Wii MotionPlus add-on in order to play this game. This game only runs in widescreen 16:9.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword review

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword review
Posted : 10 years, 3 months ago on 3 February 2014 06:44Swordplay is really fun, dungeon bosses are a treat, the early levels blew me away with its level of difficulty early on, the amount of depth to defeat each enemy, the beautiful soundtrack, a mindblowing visual cinematic experience, and intuitive use of items. This is a true Wii Zelda title. It slightly falls short from the depth in what The Wind Waker provides, and some of the latter parts of the main quest are terrible.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword review
Posted : 11 years, 8 months ago on 22 August 2012 06:02I really think that Skyward Sword was always the main objective of Nintendo when they launched the Wii. And Iโm not talking about the game Skyward Sword, but about the concept, the technology, the idea and the full potential that it was able to reach with the WiiMote. You see, I felt PART of the game, using the sword, shield and the bow. I was always so amused, that I constantly stood up to fight the enemies, because I was felling that I was Link trying to save Zelda (and Hyrule, I guess). Iโm glad that I was able to experience this masterpiece
